St. Louis Traffic Cameras Event Pictures Tri-County REACT Interact Highway Reports Who We Are

Team Activities
  • We provide communications to other nonprofit groups and as an emergency aid to individuals;
  • We help local law enforcement agencies with parking and traffic control during special events like parades, bike rides, and local fairs;
  • Many of our members look for stranded motorists that need assistance on the roads and Interstates in the evenings and on weekends. Our services are needed since the Missouri State Motorist Assist vehicles are not out during those times (note: we have received training from MODOT);
  • When severe weather is approaching, many of our members, including the meteorologist that's on our team, hit the roads as certified Skywarn weather spotters;

Team Vehicles
All of our vehicles are privately owned by our members and are equipped with warning lights. All of our team members carry a lot of equipment in their vehicles so we are able to respond to emergency situations. Our team carries equipment like traffic cones, flares, jumper cables, medical supplies, fire extinguishers, water, tools, crowbars, gasoline containers, hydraulic jacks, air compressors or air tanks, flashlights, and spotlights. Most units are equipped with Nextel for instant communication with law enforcement and rescue personnel.
