25 & 26, 2009 - Our team assisted the St. Louis County Park Rangers
with the World War II Weekend at Jefferson Barracks Park. The event consisted
of US and German camps set up in the park all weekend. There were also
several WWII battle re-enactment between the U.S. Army and the German
Army complete with WWII era army vehicles and real guns firing blanks
and compressed CO2. Our team directed traffic and supervised parking for
the event. The Sunday battle sparked a grass fire. The soldiers and park
rangers were unable to contain it so the fire dept. was called in to bring
it under control before the battle continued.
