2007 World War II Weekend
April 28 & 29, 2007 - Our team assisted the St. Louis County Park Rangers with the World War II Weekend at Jefferson Barracks Park. The event was a WWII battle re-enactment between the U.S. Army and the German Army complete with WWII era army vehicles and real guns firing blanks and compressed CO2. Our team directed traffic and supervised parking for the event. Saturday a small fire grass fire started during one of the battles. The battle was stopped briefly while the soldiers put it out. During Sunday's battle one of the soldiers was taken to the hospital after falling on his rifle.
