25, 2004 - 6:00pm - 11:50pm - Our team members assisted the St. Louis
County Park Rangers with traffic control and parking supervision at the
Oldies by the River Concert at Jefferson Barracks Park. Before the concert
started, they blocked roads to guide cars to the correct parking areas.
When the concert ended, they directed traffic out of the park and then
did a sweep of the lots. Unit 02 found a purse in one of the fields and
alerted a park ranger. While the ranger was attempting locate where the
owner of the purse lived, the cell phone in the purse rang. It was the
husband of the owner of the purse. The ranger explained he had the purse
and gave his location to the man, who was in the park looking for it.
A few minutes later the husband and wife walked up to the ranger and he
explained where and how unit 02 found the purse. The couple thanked 02.
