27, 2002 - 8:30am - 2:00pm - Five of our team members assisted the St.
Louis County Park Rangers with directing traffic and managing parking
for the Mighty Mud Mania event at Jefferson Barracks Park. The event is
for kids and the main event is a giant mud pit for the kids to play in
and have fun. The temperature rose to 100 degrees by the afternoon. Unit
02 and 71 treated two kids that collapsed next to them for heat exhaustion.
They were then taken to the first aid tent to cool down.
