Volunteer Today

Tri-County REACT is actively seeking volunteers. No experience is necessary, but you must have a willingness to serve the community. We are a non-profit 501 (c) (3) volunteer public service organization comprised of private radio operators who serve the community by providing emergency two-way radio communications. We also work closely with local emergency agencies and help with traffic control at public events such as fairs, parades, bike rides, and walk-a-thons.

Donations Needed

We are a non-profit 501 (c) (3) volunteer public service organization that relys solely on private donations. We use the donations to purchase communications equipment to help other people in an emergency and other non-profit organizations during their fund raising events. Along with communications equipment, we use other items like flares and other safety gear on a regular basis when we assist stranded motorists on the highways.

In The Spotlight

Here's just one of many reports on this web site of one of our members in action within the past few years:

  • August 29, 2001 8:40pm - Unit #220 and unit #65 had just pulled up to the gas pumps at the QuikTrip gas station on Bowles Ave. at I-44 when 220 noticed a male and female in a black Thunderbird next to them. The engine was running, the windows were rolled up, and both occupants were unconscious. 220 and 65 suspected they were either drunk or on drugs so 65 called the St. Louis County Police. Two officers arrived a few minutes later and 220 flagged them down and showed them the car. Read Full Story
